Poem text:
Welcome, immigrants
From across the seas
Let's share our stories together
I want to learn about you
I want to learn from you
Let's gather together
Speaking and listening
Let’s respect each other
Let’s protect each other
Our differences make us strong
When we join together
From across the land
Welcome, immigrants
My highest priority for this piece is for it to be publicly displayed such that immigrants to our region can encounter it and feel a little more welcomed to the area, so I'm happy to donate it free of charge to an organization or individual who can commit to sharing it publicly.
Previously exhibited in Bellevue, Edmonds, Auburn, and Seattle.
Condition: Surface weathering, a few spots where sharpie graffiti needs more cleaning.
